The greener the plate, the better the weight! The most important weight loss tip ever....



    The secret? Health is so easy! But why do we make things so complicated? As a physician, I counsel patients everyday on weight loss strategies that naturally weave into the fabric of their lives. The problem with "diets" are that they are restrictive, confining and a set up for failure because of what we know about "diet plans" from the past. Food is NEVER the enemy, but CHOICES can be the enemy. My goal is to guide readers to shaping their eating habits around the "greener plate", which will make you healthier, happier, lose weight, more beauty, create more energy and hundreds of other benefits for 2017!
Simple math says:

Consume less calories + burn calories = weight loss.

But no where in this equation does it say eat LESS food! In fact eating MORE of the right foods creates more health and weight loss! Next time you sit down at the dinner table ask yourself this simple question: Is half of the plate GREEN?





By simply consuming at least half of your plate being green vegetables, salads, etc you have effectively eliminated about 50% of your usual calories, but still get to eat food. With the remaining space on your plate (half or less), save room for some of your favorite carbs and protein. Simply put, the greener the plate, the better the weight!
